When do you expect a fix for the google toolbar? I'm only expecting an estimate not an exact date!
I don't want to install the update until I have an idea when the Google toolbar fix will be expected. I have programs that run only on Firefox that use the Google toolbar. So for me this is very concerning and distracting when the pop-up comes up with the update info. and I'm not able to do anything about it. Your input would be very helpful. Again, I'm not looking for an exact date! Just some kind of time-frame or if I'm looking at a year, 6-months or what...

Google needs to update the Google Toolbar program for Firefox 5.0.
The Google Toolbar 7.1.20110512W version does work pretty good in Firefox 5.0 by using the Compatibility Reporter extension. But not every feature works 100%.

Google Labs has been working on a GTB 8 version, but it looks like it isn't made for Firefox - just for Internet Explorer.

So, maybe Google isn't going to be supporting Firefox any longer. That might be a move to force Google Toolbar users over to Google Chrome, which I believe has all those features built-in.
Thank you... that is very helpful! At least that gives me some direction and what to expect. Perhaps if I inquire at Google I may get some direction there. I can always hope. It would be helpful just to know where I need to go from here. Thank you for your help.
