I think there is a bug in Firefox 5.0. I am trying to get the main part of the drop down Bookmarks menu to sort. I cannot get it to do this. There is no direct option to sort the top level of bookmarks in this menu. You can sort folders, but not the Root level of the folder tree and bookmarks at the root level. I tried using the sidebar, and did sot the Root level of the folder tree. But this sorted order did not appear in the Root level of the folder tree in the dropdown Bookmarks menu. Nothing seems to work for sorting the Root level of the Bookmarks menu. I tried manual rearranging of items in the Root level of the Bookmarks menu, and that has a bizarre behavior of putting the item at a location 5 items above where I dropped the item by drag and drop. So that is broken too. I think you software is broken, a bug.
