Firefix has stopped opening on my mac, it sais that my profile is missing and it won't open. any help?
Firefox is refusing to open, every time i try it a window pops up saying that my profile is missing. anybody got any ideas at all?

I am having the same exact problem
and @ cor-el i don't see how those help us , i tried looking at it and none of the links help us out in OS X Lion
Is there still a profile folder present in /Users/<user>/Library/Application Support/Firefox/Profiles/<profile>/ ?
Be aware that in Lion the $HOME/Library is now a hidden folder.
Open Finder and use one of these:
- Go > Go To Folder (Shift-Command-G) and in the dialog type: ~/Library
- Open the "Go" menu and hold down the Option key to make the Library appear
