Why do all web pages lead back to Facebook?

I've been using Firefox for years but lately, every time I try to get onto other web pages, especially Google and Yahoo, I'm being redirected back to Facebook. Why is this?

I've tried uninstalling firefox and reinstalling it again and I am using the most up to date version from your website. At the moment, I'm going to have to stop using firefox, even though I prefer it.
