Why is it when I open Firefox, after downloading the newest version, I get an error message "problem loading page" for every page I try to open.
I downloaded the newest version of Firefox. I have used Firefox forever. Download was successful but now, when I open Firefox, I get the message "problems loading page" and in the body of Firefox it says "Server not found " Firefox can't find the server at www.yahoo.com.

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

I tried the steps you mentioned above. Nothing worked. I am still unable to open any sites using FireFox. Unfortunately, I have no problem with IE, which I dislike immensly.
