Are there any add-on's which allow user's to lock Firefox with a password?
As firefox has saved password's for sites which I regularly visit, are there any applications or add-on's available with this function?

This extension can be set to require to enter the master password on startup.

Remember that any protection added via an extension can be bypassed by starting Firefox in Save mode.
