No longer can print a web page

Within the last upgrade to Firefox 8.0.1 I no longer can print from Firefox. I've reset printer.printer_printer (there was no named printer in about:config), but when I go to file print my default printer is listed. I usually get three blank pages and nothing prints. My settings did NOT send the page to File or a PDF format. It just stopped working.

I can print non-pdf web pages okay but not webpages ending in .pdf. I tried the printer icon and the pull down print command selection. Nothing happens. Print preview is empty but all is well using IE.

I can't print anything form Firefox. PDF pages print after I download them and save them to my computer (I have Acrobat) none of my web pages or receipts from online orders nor html pages print? Within the last couple of week only.
