nothing shows up after extracting version 10 or even when downgrading to version 3
after downloading version 10, nothing shows up as being installed for firefox and on top of that, it crashed my antivirus. I run the machine as the administrator under a different name but with all the administrative tools. never had a problem before, but would like to know why it won't let me login to administrator (same setup as given rights to my login) and the program extracts under my login, but nothing happens after that? Firefox used to be a very reliable tool to use for many areas, now it tends to crash and now this. Would like an explanation why this is happening and how to fix this or I may be required to change several hundred computers to just Safari, Google, or IE. this used to be a simple process... Give me some ideas on how to correct his issue please...

Hi bobtimmjnr,
I am not sure I have a clear idea of what it is that you are doing.
First off, can you please confirm that you are ordinarily able to install Firefox on single Windows machines with no problems.
Next can you confirm or otherwise that you are able to install Firefox 10 on single windows machines, and if not please try to explain exactly what problems arise and any error messages that you get.
Are you personally responsible for and trying to upgrade several hundred computers? and if so are these networked, and what are the Operating Systems involved please. Perhaps you would briefly explain your plans, are all these computers already using firefox and what method do you usually use to upgrade them all?
