I like to use the up and down arrow keys to scroll a web page. Yet when I try this I get the drop down menu from the address bar. The solution is to hit F6. How do I change the default to scroll? about:config something??

Hi jobsworth,

I know there are some add-ons that will allow you to set custom keyboard shortcuts. I would check there first. There is probably quite a few of them that will do what you are looking for.

Hopefully this helps!

I don't think that you can change the behavior of the Up and Down cursor keys.

The Up and Down keys can only scroll a web page if the browser window has focus and also no elements that can take keypresses like input fields and plugins have focus.

Thank you. I will try your suggestion.
