Click and drag doesn't work with bookmarks anywhere or with any text fields. It used to work great in v11 but not in v12

I tried to go back to my back-up version of Firefox v11 but it keeps auto updating to v12 despite disabling auto update in preferences and even when off line - frustrating.

被選擇的解決方法

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

To stop auto updating, change these settings in about:config to false (if not already false):

  • app.update.auto
  • app.update.enabled
  • app.update.silent

Dragging bookmarks to the bookmark Library window works for me, and I am also using Mac OS 10.6 and Firefox 12. I drag from the icon at the left of the address bar. It also works if I drag from the tab.

I had this problem... It turned out to be a conflict with the Tor add-on.
