For the past few days, whenever I try to view a stream, the entire browser freezes up and won't respond to anything for ~1 minute or until I manually end the process "plugin-container.exe"

How can I resolve this?

I've tried updating Firefox (on Firefox 13 right now) and I also uninstalled and reinstalled Flash Player. This problem isn't happening on Google Chrome or IE9.

Make sure that you allow the plugin-container process in the firewall.

A possible cause is security software (firewall,anti-virus) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.

Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

I started it in safe mode and twitch.tv still freezes up my browser.

I use Windows Firewall and KAV 2012 and previously I used Nod32 Antivirus and MSE and Windows Firewall didn't act up then so I don't know what's causing the issue now.
