Using Firefox 13 with Windows XP Professional. Even though my tab options are set to "always show tab bar" my tab bar isn't showing when there is just the single page. If I add more than one tab to the window they will show up but the first one will not and the only way to see its page content is to remove the additional tabs. If I have five tabs open at one time for example only four will be visible.

Try:

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Update: I have started Firefox in Safe Mode and found that the RealPlayer Browser Record Button 15.0.4 Extension was the problem. I have disabled it and so far all my tabs show up. Thank You....
