I have both Foxit Reader and an old version of Acrobat Pro 6. I am setup to have Foxit open all pdf files. However when there is a pdf that is in the browser Acrobat 6 is automatically selected to open the doc by FireFox and I get the message to update the application. I do not want to update because it very rarely use it. I only use it to edit older pdf files on occasion.

How can I force FireFox to use Foxit Reader to open the online pdf's.

Currently when this happens I have to open a Chrome browser to view the on line doc and this is a big pain in the butt.
