my pull down window where sites i vist where you type in www .where ever .com that window is not there how do i get it back?

You might be in full screen mode. Try pressing the F11 function key, or slide your mouse all the way to the top of the screen and right-click.
If you are in normal view but the address bar is missing, right-click a blank area of the tab bar and enable the Navigation Toolbar.
