search box in craigslist changed and i dont like it

more options

I think this change happened after I updated fire fox. The search box on craigslist has changed. I use to be able to double click on the box and a list of my searches would come up, the most searched for words were at the top of the list. This list would change, if i no longer searched with a word at the top it would start to work its way to the bottom of the list. But what i have now is a list that dont change and i need to type a letter or number, when i type in it will come up with a list (oldest first) of my searches, and the letter or number can be anywhere in the word. If i type in the letter "A" any word with an "A" in it will come up oldest first even if if it was only searched for once and spelled wrong. How do i get the old way back? Thanks.

I haven't heard of any intentional changes in Firefox's form-fill feature.

Is it possible you have an extension that enhances this feature which might been disabled during the upgrade? Usually Firefox would warn you about that, but it's worth checking the list.

orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons

On the left side, click Extensions, then scroll down to the bottom where the disabled extensions appear on a gray(er) background.

To check for extension updates, you can use the "gear" button at the top of the Add-ons Manager page.

Anything relevant there?
