What is the beta update channel?
I am currently updating Firefox and it says I'm currently on the beta update channel. What does this mean and is it a good thing?

Hello,
The beta update channel is our final testing channel before we release a version of Firefox. It is usually very stable, and if you like to see features early, then it is a good choice =) You can find out more about it here.
If you would like to go back to the completely stable release channel, you can download Firefox from this page.
