It is possible that there are multiple redirects.

Note that the setting in "Options > Advanced > General" is meant as an accessibility feature, as you can see by the label of that section, so that people with disabilities or people who use screen readers do not get confused and is not meant as a safety protection to stop redirecting.

This reply is informative but not directly useful: the automatic reload denied notice may occur repeatedly on a website which I am using and want and repeated choices of allowing the reload only continues the matter. Offering a choice to deliberately allow a website to automatically reload would be useful. Perhaps this is called 'whitelisting'.

This is an accessibility feature (it shows under Options > Advanced > General > Accessibility) meant for people with disabilities or that are using screen readers and not for normal usage as some security feature, so if you use it that way then you have to accept that is works this way and that you need to click to confirm every time.
