I have created a message filter on the email server. It places messages to a specific email address in a Sub-folder on the IMAP server. Yet, when Thunderbird opens, it does not show in the left-pane in bold any new messages in that folder, until I specifically click on that folder, then it downloads the messages and shows how many are unread.

How can I have it show/display number of unread messages without clicking on the sub-folder?
