All incoming messages display as plain text

I've just installed Thunderbird and it's not displaying any incoming messages with html. Nor does it allow me to click any links in the incoming messages. When I click the links nothing happens.

Could this be because I've installed Enigmail as my encryption add on? If this is causing the problem, do I have other options in order to display html & be able to click on links within messages?

Do you have this setting ? 'View' > 'Message Body as ' > 'Original HTML'

BTW - you may prefer to see all the toolbars. They can be enabled - see image below.
