Kii Keyboard is a keyboard app for android. In it, you can go to the text editor screen, and there is a button called 'Clear' that will delete everything in the selected text field. It works in the urlbar in Firefox for Android, but not in text fields in web pages like google.com or facebook.com. Any ideas on why ths is the case or what I can do about it?

Firefox for Android uses the text code that is shared between Firefox on the various desktop operating systems (Windows, OS X, Linux). This results in sometimes not supporting all the features a keyboard might have.

So it that likely to change in the foreseeable future?
