A website I use states: this agency will no longer support the use of internet security protocol TLS 1.0 or 1.1 - how do I update this with Firefox?
I use a website that now has the following notice:
Security Notice: As part of our ongoing effort to enhance security, this agency will no longer support the use of internet security protocol TLS 1.0 effective August 1. Additionally, we will also discontinue support for Internet security protocol TLS 1.1 as of September 1. This means you may need to update your web browser to use this site. For questions about updating, please consult your internet browser provider.
How do I update this?

Unless your Firefox settings have been modified, Firefox is ready for sites that use TLS 1.2, the latest version of the SSL protocol.
For example, if you click the green padlock on this site, then More Information, the bottom of the Security panel in that Page Info dialog should show that the page was encrypted using TLS 1.2. I have attached a screen shot showing where to find that information.
Can you confirm that it's working?

in order to inspect your browser's crypto capabilities you can also visit a test site like https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/viewMyClient.html
