Running Firefox 39.0.3 on Mac OS 10.7.5 "Show my windows......" shows on the pull down menu from "When Firefox Starts", However, I cannot select it.

I want to maintain my own home page, and all the tabs from my previous session. How do I do that?

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in permanent Private Browsing mode (Never remember history).

  • Firefox > Preferences > Privacy > Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history"
  • Deselect: [ ] "Always use Private Browsing mode"
