I know you can't sync them, but how to import them to iPhone safari? is there, for example, a way to bring the firefox bookmarks HTML file into iPhone,

and import them into safari that way?

some ideas i have include: using the dropbox app, plugging the iPhone via USB cord into the desktop and dragging... do you know of any way that would work? thanks lots!!

Isisombululo esikhethiwe

Hi

You may want to have a look at this add-on which may do what you are trying to achieve.

Worth noting that there is a version of Firefox being rolled out for iOS which may allow you to use Firefox Sync to link your desktop and mobile bookmarks.

I hope this helps, but if not, please come back here and we can look into a different solution for you.

BTW, how will we find out when that happens? Will FF users be emailed? Or, is it possible to request to be placed on an email notification list for this event? Thanks again!

Hi

I recommend keeping an eye on www.mozilla.org, but also blog.mozilla.org where news may be announced in the next few months.

Alternatively, you can sign up for email updates from Mozilla. There is information about this at the bottom of www.mozilla.org.

I hope this helps.

Hi Seburo, so okay, I've been trying to get this Firefox for iOS, (i had signed up for the emails as you suggested, and got the "today is the day" email, with a link to the app store)-- however, when i try to access this app in the itunes store, i get this message: THE ITEM YOU REQUESTED IS NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE IN THE U.S. STORE.

What can i do? Is there so other way i can get it?

Hi

I have spoken to the Firefox Mobile team and can confirm that Firefox for iOS is available in the United States. The message you are seeing could be have been triggered by a large amount of traffic to that app.

I recommend you try again and it should be okay. Here is a direct link to the app in iTunes.
