Hey everyone! FFmobile shows 6 top sites when opening a new tab. Is it possible to have more top sites (and just scroll down if there are too many)? E.g. 12 or 20 top sites?

Hello,

With the new Firefox update, the number of tiles is now determined on screen size - if you zoom out or expand the window you can have more tiles appear.

If you want to set a fixed number of tiles, I believe you can do so with the following extension:

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/new-tab-tools/

Thank you, Rubin! Your answer is most helpful. However, I have too follow up questions:

a) how do I zoom out in FFmobile? I don't see a way to do it.

b) the aforementioned add-on is exactly what I was looking for. However, when I try to install it with FFmobile (most recent build) it simply says "Downloading addon..." and nothing else happens. Is this a common problem? I.e. is not compatible with FFmobile?

Thanks :)

Hi, as far as I am aware, it isn't currently possible to change the number of Top Sites in the way that it is on Firefox Desktop - I too wish it was!

New Tab Tools, and zooming in or out to change the number of thumbnails is similarly unavailable on Android.

Top Sites info - Customize the Firefox home screen.
