Can I save or export saved passwords with Firefox in order to recover them in a new computer?
I will soon be getting a new computer. Having a large number of websites and respective access passwords saved in Firefox Mozilla, it would be very convenient to be able to export this information to the new machine after installing Firefox, as one can do with Bookmarks. Is this possible for websites+passwords?

Note that you can also copy the logins.json and key3.db files from the current profile folder to the profile folder on the other computer.
You can use this button to go to the current Firefox profile folder:
- Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Show Folder (Linux: Open Directory; Mac: Show in Finder)

Password Exporter {web link} This extension allows you to export your saved passwords and disabled login hosts using XML or CSV files that can be imported later.
In the event that the passwords information is lost, you should record all information in a separate text file somewhere else on your hard drive, or written down. You can easily copy and paste if you need to do so. If you are concerned about someone else looking at that file, you can compress it using a password.
