I'm not sure if i had too many windows up at once, but mozilla firefox stopped responding and froze competely, im just trying to close it to be able to reopen it and look into the history of a website to log into, but a blurry screen pops up when i try to open firefox and the blurry screen does nothing, nothing loads, just stays a stuck blurry screen

What is your computer system and Firefox?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?

Start your Computer in safe mode with networking. Then start Firefox. Try Safe web sites. Is the problem still there?
