just upgraded to Windows 10; am prompted to enter microsoft password before I can access any contant; how can I gdet computer to remember this password?
Before my PC upgraded itself to Windows 10, I got straight onto Thunderbird as soon as I switched on. Now, on Windows 10, I have to enter my Microsoft password before I can get Thunderbird or Firefox (or anything). How can I get the PC to remember my password so that I do not have to enter it each time?

Hi, as this is a PC question which is not obviously connected with Firefox or Thunderbird, please see if this comprehensive site will help you -
If your question is resolved by this or another answer, please take a minute to let us know. Thank you!
Well, it means I cannot normally access either Thunderbird or Firefox like I used to be able to do. When I had Windows 8 previously, I got straight onto Thunderbird as soon as I started the PC. As Firefox is the only browser I have, surely there must be a mechanism in Firefox to ask for this password to be remembered? Am I supposed to ask Microsoft? They will probably tell me to use Outlook (£££). Can you not help me?
I plan to upgrade to Windows 10 tomorrow, and I dread it.
I will have this problem also, apparently.
Thanks for any help.
