Firefox update destroyed my TabGroups - how to fix it?
The latest Firefox ESR update was forst on me (not a fan of that in first place). The result was that all my tabgroubs where gone. I got a suggestion to install a plugin to deal with the lost tab groups. After installation of the plugin and a firefox restart a session restore window opened. I thought that would open all my missing tabgroups.
Well it opened all my tabs but not the way intended to. Each tabgroup is now a seperate window. And i dont see how i get thos back into one window. Now i have over 15 Firefox windows open. Startibng Firefox like that took me about 10 Minutes!!!
Please instruct how this issue can be fixed!!!

Hi, sorry but Tab Groups was removed from Firefox in v45.
Some options: Tab Groups feature discontinued
The reasoning behind it: http://www.gijsk.com/blog/2016/02/tab-groups-removal/
I very much doubt that this will be reversed, but If you want to leave feedback for Firefox developers, you can go to the Firefox Help menu and select Submit Feedback... or use this link. Your feedback gets collected at http://input.mozilla.org/, where a team of people read it and gather data about the most common issues.
If your question is resolved by this or another answer, please take a minute to let us know. Thank you!
Well, if Firefox suggests a Plugin to get the feature back and i Install it, i expect this stupid thing to work!!! Specially if it already offers to restore the session with the tabgroups.
I lost olmost all my open tabs and with it a lot of information.
Thanks Firefox for ...
- Not warning before the update was automatically installed!!
- Offering a not working solution!!
So thats it? A short "It's like that" and then no answer is provided??
