When using FireFox I sign out of one hotmail account and it automatically logs me back in. When using Chrome I sign out and it takes me to this page: http://www.msn.com/ja-jp/?ocid=mailsignout I can then choose to sign back into the same hotmail or into another hotmail of mine.

Previously FireFox worked the same way. I refreshed FireFox but the same problem continues.

Try logging out and closing the browser. Restart it under in private browsing usually accessable through a right click and then in private browsing selection. You can also try clearing the cache and seeing if there are any sign out options in the settings tab.

Are you talking about your user/password being filled in? That is the Password Manager doing its job.

You would need to overwrite what was entered.
