Why is Multfox not working on my pc?

more options

I have installed Multi-fox on my windows 8.1 PC about a year ago. It was working fine until today, it suddenly showed an error that reads, "Multifox doesn't work when multiprocess mode is enabled..." What does this mean? Can I disable multiprocess mode? If not, what can I do to fix this problem.

The error message said something about it won't be updated because "The development time would not be worth it..." I hope that multifox is gone forever.

Any information would be appreciated.

You can close about:config after you have toggled the pref(s).

Close and restart Firefox to apply the changes.

You can disable multi-process tabs in Firefox by setting the related prefs to false on the about:config page.

  • browser.tabs.remote.autostart = false
  • browser.tabs.remote.autostart.2 = false

You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I'll be careful" to continue.

I changed them to "False"

Do I have to do anything to "Save" or "Enter" this setting, or can I just close the about:config tab?

Multifox website is down. Seems like they withdrew their program completely. When will Firefox create a similar feature WITHIN Firefox, so one can have different tabs with unique cookie sets?

Hi csmi, you've posted this question in multiple threads as well as starting your own question. Is there some reason you need to keep reviving old threads?!

Your question:

Multifox add-on and website is down. When will Firefox create a similar feature WITHIN Firefox, to use unique cookies? - two answers already
