I can't log in. do you want your pswd or my email pswd to sync to?

more options

I tried to sync Firefox/Android to my gmail account so I have a remote copy of links, email and other data. My phone does not sync other than it asks for a password. I input either my Firefox password or my email account password and Firefox/mobile(Android) does not accept either. It says I have an account that's active but its not syncing logging me in or trying to sync to my email. Both show the same email address. I created a pswd for Firefox that is not identical to the email address pswd.

Sorry if it wasn't clear, but the Firefox Sync feature doesn't share data with your Google account, it just uses your email address for confirmation links.

What it can do is use a Mozilla server to exchange certain data between different installations of Firefox.
