If you went to their website, it may have been a phish to steal your email login. Make sure to change your password on your real email websites ASAP in that case.
Anyway, it doesn't sound like something that would have come from Mozilla.

Anyway, it doesn't sound like something that would have come from Mozilla.
Why are you telling Thunderbird? It is not your provider and has no means to turn off your email service. Thunderbird is email client software running on your computer. No one here is going to make any contacts for you.
