Settings, Applications. There is no way to add or delete any needed or unneeded file type. Firefox 55.0.3 opens files name.xlsx in other tab as scrambled text. I need that firefox asks me what to do with this file name.xlsx Firefox already knows that for files name.xls he must ask me what to do.... P.S.Why there is not so simple and needed feature to edit file type list!? Very, very strange.

Cause it's an "Offline" file and it's not contained in HTML so it can't read it without those directions, maybe use a 3rd party xls parser or and addon, or of coarse write a small bit of HTML and load that.

If you're downloading it online then simply right click and select "save as" and that's it. If it's being forced to you without a link then goto "Tools" then "Page Info" and find it manually in there and download it.
