Can I rename a multi-word item in the toolbar to shorten it?

Some items in the toolbar have two or three LONG words (e.g., View Ghostery's findings), really taking up space. Is there any way to rename these to shorten them?

Are that bookmarks on the Bookmarks Toolbar or items that are added by an extension?

In case of the latter you would have to check the settings of the extension via the about:addons page or contact its creator for support.

If it if a bookmarks then on Mac it is probably easiest to edit the name of the bookmark in the Details pane (bottom right) in the Bookmarks Manager (Library; Show All Bookmarks).

These are not bookmarks. These are the shortcut icons in the top toolbar, which you place/remove in the customize area in the drop-down menu from the Firefox icon (which is in the toolbar). Can the filenames of these icons be edited for length?
