Media Recorder API is not working correctly

more options

Hi all,

I have 2 issues with Media Recorder API using Firefox 57 and Firefox ESR 52.5.0

1) FIREFOX ver. 57 MediaRecorder.start(100) - 100 The number of milliseconds to record into each Blob, so I add 100ms of video record into different blobs, but current implementation of firefox ignores this timeslice and record 1 or 2 seconds into each blob, it ignores my 100ms on start(100) method https://www.screencast.com/t/oSRjmXVSa

2) FIREFOX ESR 52.5.0 Issue with Pause() - Resume() methods for media recorder steps to reproduce: - Start recording - recording video into blobs correctly - Pause recording ....nothing happening.... it's correct because we paused recording - Continue recording .... nothing happening, it's incorrect because we resume recording - Stop the recording after stopping recording appends a big blob with missed data between Continue - Pause state, but it also appends data between PAUSE - CONTINUE, that's incorrect, I click pause button and I don't want to record this time period between Pause-Continue state. https://www.screencast.com/t/sD7HPDIjtV1Y

I think, that you would be better off reporting these kind of bugs into Bugzilla: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/enter_bug.cgi
