Why does the DNS of my browser constantly switch itself to a Belguim location even though I have manually set all of my network adapter DNS to USA?

I have tried everything I can think of to manually set the DNS addresses in all of my network adapters and when i first start up Firefox, it shows my DNS (using whoer.net) as the one I set it to. But usually after about 5 or 10 minutes it starts showing either two DNS addresses, the original one I set and also one from Belgium (194.187.251.66), or just the one from Belgium, for some reason. Is there any way to stop this from happening? I am using a vpn and socks5 and if the DNS location does not match my IP address location, then it looks like I am attempting to hide my location.

Thanks for your assistance.

It is related to your VPN settings that is causing this. This is part of the problem when you use VPN that is outside of your Country.

Hi, hide my location is the whole idea behind using a VPN. There is no point in using a VPN then. Turn it off/disable when you want to be found and turn it on/enable when not.
