Why is my latest version of Firefox 62.0.1 identified as version 25?
I have had messages telling me that my Firefox version is out of date. If I go to the Mozilla add-ons page I receive the message...
This add-on requires a newer version of Firefox (at least version 41.0). You are using Firefox 25.0.
I am on a Xiaomi Note 4, running MIUI 9.6.

Your Firefox identified itself to this forum as:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:25.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/25.0
So... that is 64-bit Firefox 25 on 64-bit Windows 7, which doesn't match up with your device.
Do you use any add-ons that change your "user agent", or can you recall making any changes through the about:config preferences editor to any preferences containing useragent in their names?

Hello, yes that's it. I work with WordPress and was trying to force the browser to desktop version. It's a shame that Firefox doesn't have this as an option like other browsers, to be honest, I didn't understand the content of the string, but now it makes sense. Thank you very much.
Firefox for Android has "Request Desktop Site" on the menu. This emulates Linux, which may or may not work well with your WordPress site.

Request desktop site would work if it didn't always revert back to mobile. I just need a larger working area and to prevent auto zoom when clicking into forms. After trying all browsers Firefox still has the best (least annoying) application for editing WordPress. I still have to use a mouse though. Thanks again for your advice and support.
