Send to Email Recipient doesn't work in Windows 10

Hi there, I have a client who uses LibreOffice/Thunderbird. Normally he use File/Send/Email as Microsoft Word and it Thunderbird opens a blank email with the file attached. Today LibreOffice tells him that there is no default mail client setup.

I checked that Thunderbird is set as the default client. I reset all the Windows 10 defaults apps and then reset them the way I wanted (including Thunderbird). No change.

Then I tried right clicking the file and using Send To Mail Recipient, and I get a MAPI error.

How can I fix this?
