Hello everyone,

This started about a week ago, whenever I open a youtube video (new tab or simply click on the alredy existing page and any video does it) the browser freezes. The freeze can go from only a second to about 20 seconds, when it happens I cannot use firefox at all and have to wait for it to "come back". Also the youtube page takes a long time to fully open, any other browser is fine and the video just starts in about a second, no freezing or anything like it. Strictly firefox.

I'm using Win 10, supposed to be all updated. Drivers updated, flash updated also.

Really no idea why it started doing this.

Thanks for the help !

Check to see if the crash happens in Safe Mode (see below).

   Try a clean reinstall (see Firefox keeps crashing at startup).

Otherwise, follow these steps in order. Table of Contents

   Update your software
       Update Firefox
       Update and troubleshoot your Flash plugin
       Update Windows
       Update your drivers
       Update your Internet Security software
   Check for viruses or spyware
   Check to see if the crash happens in Safe Mode
       The crash still happens in Safe Mode
       The crash doesn't happen in asafe mode

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
