Why isn't Thunderbird moving Junk Mail from inbox to junk mail folder, it flags them, but I have to move them
Mail comes in flagged "junk", but I have to move them to JUNK folder by selecting "Mark as Junk". Should't Thunderbird move them to JUNK after I have requested Run Junk Mail Controls ?

Did you set that option under Junk controls? The default action is to mark as Junk with the flame icon and leave in the Inbox.

Thanks,.... thought it was automatic.
My Junk flames have started appearing, I must have switched it on? Been away from Thunderbirrd for a few years, but prefer it to paid MS Outlook! Anyway if any incoming is marked Junk, does subsequent mail from that address end up as Junk automatically? Or do I have to manually mark every time?
Clairity please!
I've marked one particular sender as junk many times yet they still come into my inbox unmarked. Other junk goes to the junk folder but not this one. Any idea why this is happening?
I can not find any controls for Junk mail in my version of TB.. When I check under Troubleshooting, says I have V. 68.8.1, Which would seem to be current. I have limited functions is appears. Can't control Junk or Spam mail. Help.
Hi. Similarly, can anyone explain the genius behind Thunderbird's identifying a message as junk, not moving it to the junk folder, AND ALSO, not even providing a button or any user control to confirm that it is junk or move it to the junk folder?
