I am trying to troubleshoot a problem where an application sends mail thru Thunderbird. I am trying to learn the process so I can determine why Thunderbird is not recognized by the other program. In this specific instance the environment is:

Windows 10 Thunderbird 68.0.0 (32 bit) Quickbooks 2020

All I can find are statements that it is incompatible with quickbooks. I am troubleshooting this and need some information about how the process works.

For instance, does Thunderbird (current version) support MAPI and is that the means for provide the interface? I am asking the same question of Intuit.

I just need a bit of help getting going. I am willing to code a test to check the process. I will post anything I learn.
