Firefox Android Updates Broke Fullscreen in YouTube using "Desktop Site"

more options

The Android Firefox Updates appear to have eliminated users ability to see the entire video image on the viewer's screen with latest updates.

How do we view entire YouTube 16:9 video image in fullscreen using "Desktop Site" like we have for years? Currently the image stretches proportionately on wider than 16:9 phone screens to touch the left and right screen edges. This has the problem of pushing the Top & Bottom of the image past the edges of the screen. This is a problem and a lost and valuable feature.

We can not see the entire video image any longer after this feature was broken in the last few updates. Please fix this going forward.

I can not log onto a live stream on my phone any longer and see what my video completely looks like after I tap "Fullscreen". The image is currently being shown larger than what can fit on my screen.

Super Annoying and Frustrating to no longer be able to get around this annoying behavior by activating "Desktop Site".

Please Fix this soon or I'll be forced to use older versions of Firefox Android that works and never be able to update again.

I was able to find an older Version 68.2.1 version that has the Full-screen behave and allow users to see an entire 16:9 in Full-screen mode using "Request Desktop Site".

Versions 81.1.1 & 81.2.1 are definitely two newer versions that do not work as I want them to. I no longer work the way I want my Android Browser to operate.

I found a little bit newer version of Firefox Android in another user's post.

YouTube Fullscreen operation works correctly in the Firefox 68.11.0 version link there: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1300966

or (at the time of this reply): https://download.mozilla.org/?product=fennec-latest&os=android&lang=multi

Attached are the differences in what is normally shown viewing 16:9 ratio videos between Mobile and Desktop Site from screenshots of Firefox Android versions before the most recent updates ruined the Desktop view some time after Version 68.11.0
