Firefox crashes randomly when using it for about 10-30min.

I have tried reparing the firefox install and also tried doing a clean install and uninstalling all add-ons.

System specs: i7 4820HQ GTX 960m 2GB 16GB RAM 500GB SSD

It seems that firefox is running on the CPU's integrated graphics (Intel HD 4600) rather than the dedicated GPU, atleast the GPU activity app doesn't show firefox.
