Other Bookmarks missing from my Toolbar
Other Bookmarks and its contents has disappeared from my toolbar. How do I bring it back? It is visible in my dorp downbox, but I need it available to me in my toolbar. Thank you in advance.

As I said above, type about:config into the address bar, press Enter and accept any warning, then copy and paste the following into the search box browser.toolbars.bookmarks.2h2020 Now on the search result, click the Toggle button at the right-hand end to change from to False to True. You must then restart Firefox to implement the change.
If you are unable to add anything to the bookmarks bar and the bar is empty, open the 3-bar menu > Customize, then look for an icon called 'Bookmarks Toolbar Items' in the Customize palette, if it's there, drag it into the bookmarks toolbar (looks like two long parallel dotted lines below the main toolbar.) Click Done to save.

Hi, firstly, be aware that if Other Bookmarks is empty, it will not show. However, to add it to the toolbar, type about:config into the address bar, press Enter and accept any warning, then copy and paste the following into the search box browser.toolbars.bookmarks.2h2020 Now on the search result, click the Toggle button at the right-hand end to change from to False to True. You must then restart Firefox to implement the change.
Note that from Firefox 85 (scheduled for release 26th January) an option will be added to the right click on the toolbar menu, which will also allow you to add/remove Other Bookmarks.
Than you for your response. However, Other Bookmarks is not empty: "Other Bookmarks and its contents has disappeared from my toolbar". I still have it, it is in my Bookmarks menu in the drop down. I just need to put Other Bookmarks (and its contents) back into my Bookmarks toolbar. How shall I proceed?

I did as you suggested and it worked like a charm! Other Bookmarks now appears in my Bookmarks Toolbar (which is where it always was--how it disappeared is a mystery). I have two laptops and clicking on sync did not resolve the problem, but your suggestion did. However, now I notice that one laptop has the Other Bookmarks after the double, right-facing arrows (Show more Bookmarks) while location on the other laptop is before the double arrows. Can the Other bookmarks location be changed? And why doesn't syncing make the adjustments?
The Other Bookmarks button added via browser.toolbars.bookmarks.2h2020 is a new button and will appear at the end of the Bookmarks Toolbar and that shows the content of the Other Bookmarks folder if you click it. If this folder appears to the left of the overflow chevron then this must be a real folder with the name Other Bookmarks on the Bookmarks Toolbar and not the actual root folder with this name. You can check that in the Library and sidebar.
cor-el Thank you for your response/solution. As it turns out, I was mistaken; my Other Bookmarks is in fact in the correct location (to the right of the overflow chevron). I completely understand that if it were to the left of it, it would have been a folder which had been given a name of Other Bookmarks which is why I couldn't understand why I initially saw it there since I do have such a folder with that name. All is well...my error.
