I just upgrade my iMac to Monterey OS. I lost all my email information and folders and I'm trying to reestablish my Thunderbird email account. Thunderbird opens fine but when I try to receive or send emails it asks for a password. I've tried every password I can think of but none work. I didn't use to have to enter a password to get or send my email before I upgraded. How can I get my password or establish a new one? And how can I avoid having to enter a password? All my IP addresses are correct.

The password being requested is the password used for your email provider. You'd have to reach out to them if you've lost access to your account.
