When I click the address bar and start typing some phrase (any search phrase, e.g. 'how to train a dragon') there are no search suggestions displayed. So I have to type all the phrase instead of typing just the first 1-2 words. This is annoying... I have search suggestions enabled in the settings, so what can I do to actually make it work?

Actually I use Yandex search. Search suggestions works fine with google by the way, but does not work with yandex. Afair some time ago yandex search engine was removed from my firefox and I had to add it manually, so maybe this is the reason of the issue. How can I fix that?

Thanks Seburo, will check that.

At the same time I have a question to Firefox developers/managers: you are aware that yandex exist, firefox had yandex as option before, so why it does not have it now? Is it possible to get it back?

Hi

Yandex has been removed as a default search provider in Firefox for Android. You can add it as a search engine if you wish, this article will help:

As I mentioned above, I've added yandex manually, but search suggestions are not working now.
