Thunderbird was working great and it has been my favorite email program for years. However, now it won't sync with the server. It asks me to put in my password. I use the same password as I do to log into gmail from the web and it gives me the error that the password is incorrect.

All of the help information is based upon previous versions of Thunderbird and not the current. There is no option to delete account and add it as a new account.

I guess it is time to switch to Outlook.

If anyone has ideas to fix this, I would appreciate it.
