Unable to directely download, and unable to open the 'indirectely' downloaded pdf [Android]

Hello. The issue is this: (1) I am unable to download pdfs via firefox(android), though the pdf file opens up in the browser itself instead of 'directly' being downloaded in the system. (2) Somehow you can still download the pdf by going to the menu and then to share option, and from thence you can select "save pdf" option– Your pdf is downloaded. Yet, if you open it in your system via any pdf veiwer app whatsoever, it would not open as it shows "decoding error". Kindly resolve this issue with immediate effect.

Have you tried long pressing on the link to a .pdf file and selecting the option to download it?
