I would like to join the previous post and add something. I am using sync- function very intensively and I have created my personal order to find any information as fast as possible at every device I am using. Now it seems a litte bit that the order relies on last access. Probably there are some people which like this, but - please - dear mozilla dev-team - can you give me back my own order of bookmarks and make the order by access time a feature?

I just noticed this problem as well, it was normal yesterday December 18 2024. In each folder the order was subfolders at the top, then links in the order they were added in, as in oldest folders then newer folders then older links then newer links. Now they are in some bizarre jumbled order I can't make heads or tails of and I can't re-order them, at least not on mobile. As far as I'm aware the last update to the Firefox app was at least two days ago, so the issue started after it but not immediately afterwards. Some of my folders have dozens of sub-folders and hundreds of links and I can't find anything like this, and it would take me upwards of 3 hours of work - on my desktop, mind you, which may not even have this problem - to get them back to the order I need them in. I can't move bookmarks around in the app - so why did some mysterious force get to move them around in here without my consent? It's vexing.
