I updated java to version 6 update 21, but while the new version is present in 'add-ons' (java console 6.0.21), so is the old one.(java console 6.0.20). Only the disable button is highlighted so I clicked it and it's now disabled, but why can't I uninstall it?

Thanks , found solution there alright, namely opening Firefox by selecting it from Start Menu and right-clicking and selecting 'Run as Administrator'. I was then able to uninstall the old Java version in Add-ons. Cheers
